Artur Daniel Liskowacki has been dealing with the history of Szczecin for years. Starting with details, he guides the reader between the past and the present of the city. He portrays Stettin – a city that needs to cut itself off from its German identity and be born anew as Szczecin. Meeting with the writer will be a starting point for a discussion on controversies connected with the problem of the borderlands, city borders, and the arbitrary changes brought by two great wars.
