IN THE MEDIUM OF POETRY. IN THE MEDIUM OF PROSE – JUSTYNA BARGIELSKA
Regardless of whether we are dealing with Bargielska the poet or Bargielska the writer of prose, we always encounter language that is sensual, expressive, and “particular.” Black humour and the grotesque are also characteristic of her writing, and her most frequent topic is the carnality and sexuality of women, and the conjunction of different orders: the religious, the patriarchal, and that of the middle class.
